MY PHILOSOPHY

Establishing a meaningful connections with you in the year, months, and weeks leading up to the day is important to me. Getting to know you both as a couple, understanding your aspirations and vision for your wedding day allows me to capture photographs and films that are not only beautiful but also authentically you.

Each time you look at your films or photos in the months and years following your wedding, you'll be transported back to the love, nerves, excitement, and joy you experienced on your wedding day.

My approach is simple: I aim to document your wedding day as it naturally unfolds, with my storytelling lens.

What inspires me

What inspires me the most is seeing the way you are with your loved ones and how you interact with one another. I love capturing those real and authentic moments that you will be able to look back on in thirty years time and have all those emotions come flooding back to you. While at times I will get those 'smiling at the camera photos' my approach is more candid of you enjoying yourselves. 

I am so grateful that people trust me to capture some of the biggest moments of their lives. This makes me so inspired to create absolute magic in the forms of photos and films that will be loved by so many.

No two weddings are the same, so I will take a unique approach into how I shoot and edit you, showcasing your personalities and all the emotion from the day. The type of documentation I’ll do for you is timeless and will conjure up all the feelings from the day, even when you look at it many years later.

BEHIND THE LENS

I want to get to know you before the big day so I'll happily meet you for a coffee or talk to you over zoom. So by the time your wedding comes around, fingers crossed you won't feel awkward in front of the camera and you'll be having the best time. I will help you come up with a photography/videography timeline so you know exactly what to expect from me on your wedding day.

While I am documenting your wedding, my approach is to take candid shots of you and your loved ones enjoying the day. Of course i'll also take styled photos as well, of your family, bridal party and couple shots but candid is my favourite, all those in between moments, the laughter and love. With my candid approach I capture so many moments that would go unseen, like your Grandad tear up as you say your vows or your Aunty drunk on the dance floor.

It's your day and your memories so let me know whether you want to stick to purely candid shots or a mixture of styled and candid. Either way you will have special memories of your favourite people having fun, laughing, crying and dancing, I won't miss a moment.

MY FAV THINGS

Dogs, I am completely dog obsessed but my favourite doggo of them all is my mini dachshund Ziggy. If you have your dog at your wedding expect at least 100 photos of them. 

I love spending time with my niece and nephews, I'm not like a regular Aunt, I'm a cool Aunt.

Some of my other loves are op shopping, juggling, road trips, listening to podcasts and walking along the beach.
