Who’s that girl? It’s Jess!
I’m a 30-something wedding and family photographer living in beautiful North East Victoria.
I’m a left-handed, sentimental Aquarius with a deep love for storytelling, my camera, and my mini dachshund Ziggy. I'm a big-hearted, creative soul who feels things deeply so naturally, photography became my way of holding on to what matters most.
My love for photography started early. My mum always says I was obsessed with flicking through the old family photo albums at my grandparents’ house. Those albums left a lasting impression on me. That sense of nostalgia and connection is at the heart of everything I do, it’s why I’m so passionate about capturing families and weddings in a real, honest, and emotional way.
My journey began with a Diploma in Photography, which led me to Byron Bay to study a Bachelor of Film. I then worked full-time as a video editor, soaking up all things visual storytelling. Over time, my skills and experience naturally evolved into a career capturing love stories and family moment.

My love for photography started long before I ever picked up a camera. Mum always says I was obsessed with flicking through the old family photo albums at my grandparents' house. Those albums left a lasting impression on me and taught me just how powerful photographs become with time. That sense of nostalgia and connection still inspires every story I capture today.
After completing a Diploma of Photography, I moved to Byron Bay to study a Bachelor of Film before working professionally as a video editor. Those experiences shaped the way I see light, emotion and storytelling, and today they come together through photography and film.
Whether I'm documenting a wedding, photographing a growing family, creating content for a local business or showcasing a beautiful holiday home, my goal is always the same—to create timeless imagery that feels honest, natural and true to you.

I'm inspired by the way people interact with one another—the laughter, quiet glances, shared moments and genuine connection that often happen when no one is expecting them.
Whether I'm documenting a wedding, photographing a growing family or creating imagery for a local business, my goal is always the same: to tell honest stories through timeless photography and film.

THE EXPERIENCE
Whether it's your wedding day, a family session or a commercial shoot, my approach is always the same—creating a relaxed experience where you can simply be yourself.
You don't need to know what to do in front of the camera—that's my job. I'll gently guide you when needed, but I'll also step back and let genuine moments unfold naturally. Some of my favourite photographs are the ones that happen when you're simply enjoying the moment.
Over the years, I've learnt that the best photographs come from connection, not perfection. Whether I'm calming pre-wedding nerves, making little ones laugh, or helping someone feel confident in front of the camera for the very first time, my goal is always to make the experience feel easy and enjoyable.
I'll be there to notice the moments you might otherwise miss—the quiet glances, genuine laughter, little details and everything in between—so you can stay present while I tell your story.
